Sprint Cup Headlines: Cory Podolski Collects First career Sprint Cup Win at Bristol Motor Speedway. Leading 87 laps, and relying on an extreme tire management strategy, Podolski was able to visit Victory lane for the First time in his Sprint Cup career. Climbing out of his car in Victory lane as teammates chanted "Concrete Cory", Podolski raised his arms shouting: "I'm A Big-Hairy winning Machine!". The win comes on the heels of back to back Top 5 finishes launching Podolski into 3rd place overall just 38 points behind the leader. John Wyckoff collects his third 2nd place finish of the season, while Greg Hayden was 3rd. Randy Mahlum came home 4th, while Jerry Lepage completed the Top 5 on the high-banked concrete of Bristol Motor Speedway this week.

Nothern LateModel's: Jerry Lepage Wins the Star Country 150 at Motor Mile Speedway Monday night. Lepage led 81 laps on way to his 2nd victory of the season. Danny Coral finished 2nd, while points leader Richie Coy came home 3rd. Rex Hoyle was 4th, and Randy Mahlum rounded out eh Motor Mile Top 5 this week. Coy holds a 73 point lead over 4 time Champion Rex Hoyle heading into the finale at Cayuga Speedway next Monday night.
Budweiser LateModel's: Sprint Cup King-Pin Darryl Matlock makes his short track mark at The Music City Motorplex Friday night by winning the All American 125. Jay Neels was 2nd, while Richie Coy came home 3rd. Jerry Lepage finished 4th, while Cory Podolski battled home 5th. Qualifying Heat Winner Danny Coral finished 6th in the Main Event this week.
