In life you won't come out a Champion in everything. But what is important is that you find what you have learned from any experience and apply it to your next task at hand. Looking at all of you, and having had the opportunity to interact on a weekly basis with some of the best Sim Racers this nation has to offer, I have learned other life lessons.
"Grace under Pressure"... In front of a flurry of activity, you learn to keep your composure, and not upset what your Sim Racing peers were also trying to acclomplish. All of you appeared "cool as a cucumber" when the heat was on, and should be applauded for that. Most importantly, we learn that not everything in life is handed to us on a silver platter. All of you know that winning a Sim Racing Championship involves patience, respect, being prepared, and a lot of luck. You maximized the use of those tools, and collected yourself a Championship against a group of the Best Hardcore Sim Racers in the Country.
To all of you, I congratulate you on your achievements. I am so proud of all of you for having the energy, and passion to participate, for being such great sports, and for sharing our love for the Sport of Sim Racing. You all are definitely Winners, and deserve to consider yourselves a Champion in every sense of the word.
